What is “Ravenna 2008?
Three days of information/training meetings dedicated to technical-economic issues regarding the management of water, energy and waste.
Why should we talk about WATER, ENERGY, WASTE?
The management of environmental complexities at local level in the water, energy and waste sectors represents a challenge for Italian regions, local administrations and the business world. The growing impact of water, energy and waste “bills” on the budget of Italian families and businesses calls for a problem of economic sustainability. Such aspects call for, on behalf of economists, technicians and politicians, the need to
- think over what has been done in the past decade;
- define future strategies for a sustainable and efficient management.
Why in a Labelab event?
An interest over the proposed issues has been at the base of the internet portals created by Labelab: Rifiutilab, Acqualab and Energialab. In these years our websites have reppresented a moment of virtual encounter for thousands of experts, actively contributing to the cultural growth of workers specialized in the management of waste, water and energy.
Through this initiative, we wish to expand our market on the web, offering the opportunity of analysing the issues we have always discussed on our portals. The Ravenna event will be organized in collaboration with the external networks collaborating in the project (trade associations, national and international work groups).
In which way?
The three day meeting in Ravenna includes:
- 16 LABMeeting : these are actual training stages;
- 6 Workshop : these are discussion groups among professionals of the sector. The workshop conclusions represent the basis for final discussion at the closing internatinal conference. We expect collaboration with “External Networks”, promoting technical meetings with their members in Ravenna;
- The final moment of the event is represented by a Conference organized in two sessions in which the main issues will be discussed.
